The Corporate Business Travel Hotel Sales Manager role at SREE Hotels is a highly strategic position focused on driving the Business Transient (BT) sales segment across its multi-brand hotel portfolio. Reporting from the corporate office located in the Piper Glen/Ballantyne area of Charlotte, this role demands a results-oriented leader who can cultivate and expand business transient sales with national and regional corporate clients. The manager will oversee corporate transient Marriott RFP/OnQ SM accounts, working to maximize revenue generated through business travel segments and ensuring alignment with brand standards and property-level sales teams.
Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive sales plans to increase business transient revenue, negotiating preferred agreements, and handling Request for Proposal (RFP) processes with both Marriott and Hilton national sales teams. The role requires collaboration with individual property sales teams to synchronize strategies and pricing while maintaining brand compliance. As the primary contact for corporate accounts, the manager will also analyze market trends, account performance, and competitor data to identify and pursue new revenue opportunities. Familiarity with major BT sales tools and platforms such as Lanyon, Cvent, CI/TY, and One Source is essential to maintain efficiency and keep up-to-date with brand programs.
This position also involves representation of SREE Hotels at sales calls, industry tradeshows, client events, and networking sessions, reflecting the company's strong commitment to maintaining excellent industry relationships and visibility. Strategic revenue management, adherence to brand guidelines, and in-depth performance reporting to senior leadership are additional critical facets of the role, enabling continuous improvement and successful sales execution within the business transient segment.
Successful candidates typically hold a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related fields and possess three to five or more years of experience in business transient sales, ideally at a regional or corporate level. Candidates are expected to have a strong understanding of Marriott and Hilton sales systems, loyalty programs, and the RFP process, as well as proven ability to drive account acquisition and revenue growth. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills are paramount. Highly organized, self-motivated, and result-focused individuals will thrive in this job, which includes travel up to 25 to 40 percent of the time.
Preferred experience includes familiarity with BT tools like Lanyon and Sabre, existing national or regional travel buyer contacts, and prior multi-property portfolio management expertise. This opportunity offers a competitive salary with bonus potential, comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, earned wage access, 401(k) with company matching, life insurance, and travel benefits from Marriott and Hilton. The role provides an excellent platform for ambitious sales professionals to expand their careers within an industry-leading hospitality group.
