Job Description

Gallo is a distinguished family-owned company with a heritage spanning over 90 years, renowned for being one of Glassdoor's "Best Places to Work." With a commitment to sustainability and excellence, Gallo offers a luxury wine portfolio featuring iconic brands such as Rombauer Vineyards, Pahlmeyer, Orin Swift Cellars, Louis M. Martini, J Vineyards & Winery, and Maze Row Wine Merchant, which acts as a premier U.S. importer and exporter of fine wines. The company's dedication to quality and customer satisfaction has established it as a leader in the wine industry, blending tradition with innovation to deliver exceptional products and experiences.

The role of Corporate & Consumer Event Specialist offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of Gallo’s experiential marketing efforts. This full-time, onsite position located in the prestigious winery estates of Napa Valley, with support in Sonoma, requires a dynamic professional to design and execute sophisticated, hospitality-driven events that elevate Gallo's luxury wine brands. The salary range for this position is from $81,000 to $121,400, reflecting the role's significance and the level of responsibility involved.

As an event specialist, you will be the visionary and architect behind a broad spectrum of high-touch client-facing events. From the earliest engagement with clients through meticulous planning and flawless execution, you will manage all aspects of event delivery. Your role encompasses collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to orchestrate seamless, memorable experiences that reflect both the elegance and richness of Gallo’s portfolio and the brand's commitment to outstanding guest experiences.

This position demands exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple complex events simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and timelines, while maintaining thorough and accurate records across various systems. Your ability to nurture strong client relationships will be vital as you translate client visions into refined and executable event concepts.

Beyond event planning, you will contribute to Gallo’s Direct-to-Consumer business by supporting wine sales initiatives, club acquisition, and overall guest engagement strategies. Driving these revenue-generating activities requires a nuanced understanding of luxury hospitality and business acumen, enabling you to track event performance, ROI, and guest conversion metrics effectively.

This role requires a flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and peak periods, supporting the dynamic nature of the hospitality and events industry. Travel requirements include up to 15% automobile travel for business purposes, necessitating a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and reliable vehicle access. Onboarding, training, meetings, and certain business events may require additional travel up to 5% of the time.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate extensive experience in luxury hospitality or premium brand environments, particularly managing events for high-profile clients. Knowledge of luxury wine, winemaking, and wine service standards is highly valued, alongside a passion for crafting exceptional guest experiences that build brand affinity and long-term customer loyalty. If you are a creative, highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment and seeks to make a measurable impact on a prestigious luxury wine brand, this role offers a platform to showcase your leadership and business excellence.
