Job Description

Sweetgreen is a national restaurant brand that is passionate about building healthier communities by connecting people to real, fresh food. Founded in 2007, Sweetgreen specializes in reimagining fast food to be flavorful, fresh, and rooted in relationships with farmers and local communities. With an expanding footprint across the United States, Sweetgreen is committed to fostering environments that promote meaningful connections between food, people, and purpose. The company's mission extends beyond serving nutritious meals — it emphasizes creating positive, lasting impacts on health and sustainability, supporting local agriculture, and offering employment opportunities that promote growth and development. Sweetgreen fosters a culture centered on respect, inclusivity, and community engagement, making it an ideal place for those who value not only quality food but also a meaningful workplace experience.

In this role, you will deliver warm, genuine hospitality, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for prepping and serving fresh food efficiently while maintaining high standards for taste, portion sizes, and presentation. Maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized station is also essential to support smooth and effective service. Adhering strictly to food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols protects guest trust and upholds team standards. Collaboration is key as you work seamlessly with fellow team members to balance prep, service, and restocking tasks, especially during busy periods. Sweetgreen values individuals who take pride in reliability, are detail-oriented and quality-driven, and bring energy and a team-first mindset to every shift. This role is ideal for people who want to grow their skills across multiple stations in a fast-paced, people-centered environment. Sweetgreen also offers extensive benefits to support health and well-being, including medical, dental, and vision insurance options, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan, depending on eligibility.
