Job Description
Sweetgreen is a national restaurant brand that has been pioneering the way to a healthier, more connected community through its commitment to real, fresh food since 2007. Dedicated to reshaping the fast food industry, Sweetgreen’s philosophy emphasizes making food that is fresh, flavorful, responsibly sourced, and thoughtfully prepared. With a strong foundation rooted in relationships with farmers and local communities, Sweetgreen offers not just meals but experiences that foster wellness and sustainability. The company continuously grows its impact by nurturing its employees, encouraging career advancement, and maintaining a supportive, high-energy environment for all team members. Sweetgreen embraces diversity and equal opportunity in employment, promoting inclusivity across all dimensions, including but not limited to race, gender, age, veteran status, and disabilities.
As a Sweetgreen Team Member, you will be an integral part of this well-respected movement to connect people to wholesome, real food and craft meaningful guest experiences each day. Far beyond the conventional restaurant role, this position places you at the heart of hospitality and operational excellence. You will engage in various tasks such as prepping fresh ingredients, assembling orders with precision, and warmly welcoming guests with genuine hospitality to ensure each customer feels valued. The role demands dedication to quality, attention to detail, and teamwork to keep the station clean, stocked, and organized during both routine and busy periods.
This opportunity is best suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, people-centered environments and are passionate about food and service. Sweetgreen offers a career path with room for growth, where top-performing Team Members can rapidly advance into leadership roles or even management within three years. Candidates should be ready to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week and meet specific physical standards necessary for the role, including lifting, bending, reaching, and sustained standing or walking.
Joining Sweetgreen means not only contributing to a healthier future for communities but also securing a stable, rewarding job with competitive wages and a suite of benefits tailored to support well-being and personal growth. Employees enjoy access to medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid time off, free meals during shifts, a 401(k) plan, and unique perks like a Team Member Merch Shop. By becoming part of Sweetgreen, you invest in a career that nurtures your development, encourages accountability and teamwork, and supports a mission-driven culture dedicated to making a positive impact through real food and meaningful connections.
