Job Description
Solidcore is a national boutique fitness company with over 100 studios across the country, known for its signature workout: 50 minutes of low-impact, high-intensity strength training where the lights are low and the music is loud. As a leader in the boutique fitness industry, Solidcore is passionately committed to the growth and development of its team members, fostering an environment where individuals can learn, grow, and develop their skills. The company places a high value on creating a safe, supportive space where employees can show up every day as their strongest, most empowered selves. Solidcore is equally dedicated to the health and wellness of their teams as well as the broader communities they serve.
Solidcore is actively committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the boutique fitness space. They strive to create a welcoming environment that promotes authentic self-expression, ensuring that everyone—clients and staff alike—feels safe and supported. Community is at the heart of everything Solidcore does, and they continue to take deliberate actions to foster a culture of inclusion and belonging. By fostering a diverse and inclusive space, Solidcore not only promotes better wellness outcomes but also champions the creation of a positive workplace and client environment to thrive.
The Core Crew role at Solidcore is a dynamic part-time position designed for an energetic, personable individual capable of providing excellent front desk service, administrative support, and sales assistance to the Head Coach and Community Manager. This position requires adaptability with hours varying to meet studio scheduling needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and closing shifts. The Core Crew member is fundamental in delivering a superior client experience and promoting the studio through professional, friendly engagement characterized by the CORE client experience acronym: Connect with a warm welcome and using client names, Open connections to the community, Recognize client efforts and achievements, and Educate clients about offers while expressing gratitude for their patronage.
Key responsibilities include greeting and interacting with clients consistently and thoughtfully, addressing their needs and concerns promptly, and managing account activities such as scheduling, sales, and client communication. Core Crew members maintain product knowledge on studio retail offerings, assist with daily studio operations, and ensure cleanliness to uphold an inviting atmosphere. They also serve as a problem-solving resource, communicating maintenance issues and escalating concerns to management when necessary. Additionally, boosting sales by following up with clients through designated sales platforms directly contributes to Solidcore’s growth.
This role requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, a passion for fitness and wellness, and the ability to work independently while taking initiative. It is ideal for candidates with prior sales experience and familiarity with membership business operations. Compensation includes a competitive hourly wage with opportunities for sales commissions and the benefit of free drop-in classes, making it an attractive opportunity for those who want to be fully immersed in the fitness community. This position is perfect for individuals who are eager to contribute to a supportive wellness environment and advance their careers within the vibrant and innovative world of boutique fitness.
