Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee of McDonald's. Unlike McDonald's USA, this franchisee is a separate company with a distinct employer identity. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos, trademarks, and serves McDonald’s food products, but independently manages all employment matters for the restaurant. This means the franchisee is solely responsible for hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA does not control or influence employment decisions at this location, and any applications submitted go directly to the franchisee, not to McDonald’s USA itself.

Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years or older
  • must have previous leadership experience preferred
  • must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • lead shifts ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, friendly service
  • provide leadership to crew and other managers during shifts
  • plan and monitor shift performance
  • take action to meet McDonald’s standards for quality, service, and cleanliness
  • monitor safety, security, and profitability
  • communicate with incoming shift managers for seamless transitions
  • oversee food safety practices
  • manage internal communication
  • control inventory
  • maintain daily cleanliness and operational maintenance
  • manage crew scheduling
  • train new staff
  • meet departmental and shift targets
