Job Description
Four Sisters Inns is a distinguished collection of boutique inns and small hotels located in some of California's most desirable destinations. For over 40 years, this established hospitality company has been known for providing one-of-a-kind, authentic, and personalized guest experiences. Each inn within the Four Sisters portfolio offers beautiful accommodations combined with exceptional service that consistently delights guests and fosters strong loyalty. The company's culture deeply values its employees, guests, and investors, creating a nurturing environment that supports excellence and growth within its team.
The role available at Kenwood Inn and Spa, one of the prestigious inns within the Four Sisters Inns family, is focused on cleaning staff with an emphasis on turndown attendance. This position requires working Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, ensuring that guest accommodations and common areas are impeccably maintained. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a range of cleaning duties, including tidying rooms, yards, parking lots, and office spaces, in addition to managing laundry tasks such as washing and folding clothes and maintaining supply areas. An emphasis on efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail is essential, as the employee must maintain high standards to preserve the inn's welcoming and luxurious atmosphere.
In addition to physical cleaning, the role entails interacting courteously and professionally with guests, greeting them with kindness and respect. The employee must perform tasks quietly and with minimal disturbance to guest privacy and comfort. Lifting and moving items up to 30 pounds may be necessary occasionally, so physical stamina and care in handling objects are important. This role plays a critical part in delivering the seamless and memorable hospitality experience that Four Sisters Inns is known for.
The ideal candidate will be responsible and show integrity in completing their duties efficiently and quickly while adhering to schedules and task lists. Communication skills to professionally and kindly interact with guests are also a key part of the role. This frontline opportunity is an excellent fit for those who take pride in creating inviting environments, enjoy working independently or as part of a team, and who appreciate the hospitality industry.
This position highlights Four Sisters Inns' commitment to hiring individuals who embody their five core values: grace, grit, attention to detail, adaptability, and going above and beyond. Employees in this role will contribute directly to the guest experience by maintaining cleanliness, safety, and comfort throughout the inn. They also uphold the company's standards by reporting substandard conditions or safety hazards and ensuring all areas are safe and secure before leaving. This is a part-time, scheduled shift role offering candidates a chance to join a prestigious hospitality group dedicated to quality, care, and community.
