This job opportunity is offered by an independently owned and operated McDonald's franchise, which is licensed to use the McDonald's brand name, logos, and food products. It is important to note that this franchise operates as a separate company and employer from McDonald's USA. Therefore, all employment decisions including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, and scheduling are managed solely by the franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee is solely responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant. This distinction ensures that the hiring process and employee management are handled locally and transparently within the franchise organization itself.

The available position is for a Department Manager role, which plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the restaurant. As a Department Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire a team within one of the key operational areas including Guest Service, Kitchen, or People (Human Resources) departments. Your role will involve managing daily restaurant operations to deliver fast, accurate, and friendly service to customers while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. You will also be responsible for meeting departmental goals such as food cost control, staff training, and ensuring a safe and engaging work environment.

The Guest Service Department Manager focuses on creating positive customer interactions, overseeing sales promotions, ensuring all service team members are well trained, and managing the organization of service areas such as the Front Counter, McCafe, and Drive-Thru. The Kitchen Department Manager ensures that all kitchen processes are efficient and compliant with food safety standards, controls costs related to food production, and keeps the kitchen staff updated on production procedures and new menu items. Meanwhile, the People Department Manager is responsible for recruiting qualified crew, providing comprehensive training, managing scheduling aligned with sales and profit goals, and fostering employee motivation, recognition, and retention.

This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for working in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to support various shift schedules. Previous managerial experience is preferred, especially within restaurant, retail, or hospitality settings. The role is open to candidates who are at least 18 years old.
