Job Duties
- greet guests and determine the number of people in the group
- assign seating to guests by providing a clean and available table and arranging seats
- place clean and updated menus in front of guests
- guide guests through dining areas and offer assistance when needed
- move and arrange tables, chairs, and cutlery and organize seating arrangements for groups with special needs
- ensure appropriate cutlery and napkins for all guests
- check menus for cleanliness, completeness and absence of wrinkles
- maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using ongoing cleaning procedures
- monitor seat availability, service quality, safety and guest well-being in dining areas
- comply with company safety and operational policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions to management
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- answer telephones using appropriate protocols
- cultivate positive working relationships with colleagues and support teamwork to meet common goals
- stand or walk for extended periods
- move or lift objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
