The company provides competitive wages, comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement programs, paid leave, holidays, and various additional perks designed to support the well-being and career development of its workforce. The Jackson, Wyoming location specifically offers opportunities for local delivery drivers to join their dedicated team and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.
The position of Utility Delivery Driver at Admiral Beverage in Jackson, Wyoming, is an essential role focused on the timely and efficient delivery of products to convenience and retail stores within an established local route. This role requires a Class B CDL and demands a high level of accuracy, customer service excellence, and the ability to work independently without direct supervision. Utility Delivery Drivers play a pivotal role in ensuring that store owners and customers receive their products on schedule and in great condition, while also addressing any issues or discrepancies that may arise during delivery. The job includes physical demands such as lifting up to 70 pounds and working in an environment where the driver will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, airborne particles, and noise. Drivers must have a solid understanding of handling and servicing products on retail floors, including the rotation of displays, coolers, and back stock, and operating material handling equipment such as hand trucks or electric pallet jacks.
Additionally, the Utility Delivery Driver is responsible for maintaining accurate records of deliveries, variances, and customer interactions on a daily basis. The role involves not just the transportation and unloading of goods, but the active presentation of merchandise to attract customers by organizing and assembling product displays according to pre-approved plans. Drivers also perform routine cleaning of shelves and coolers, manage stock rotation to comply with inventory policies like "Sell By" dates, and collect empty containers or returned merchandise. The position requires a combination of physical stamina, organizational skills, and dedicated customer service to uphold the company’s reputation and service standards. Overall, this role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, handling logistics, and engaging directly with customers to contribute significantly to the success of a thriving beverage distributor.
