Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • demonstrated interest in transportation planning, design, construction, operations, and/or maintenance
  • business acumen with strategic thinking and project management skills
  • ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels and across partner groups
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to educate others on complex technical concepts and lead, facilitate, and present to groups
  • ability to gather and assess data and produce reports and presentations
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • high level of discretion and professionalism
  • experience using ArcGIS or similar mapping software preferred
  • experience working in transit agency, government, or public realm projects preferred
  • experience in event planning or large-scale project management preferred
  • passion for sports or community involvement
  • in-person work in Los Angeles required with frequent local travel
  • occasionally work outside traditional business hours may be required

  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to educate others on complex technical concepts and lead, facilitate, and present to large and small groups
  • ability to gather and assess data and produce technical reports and slide decks
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively with a proactive approach
  • high level of discretion and professionalism
  • experience using ArcGIS or similar mapping software preferred
  • experience working in transit agencies, government, or public realm projects preferred
  • experience in event planning or large-scale project management preferred
  • passion for sports, community engagement, or involvement in large-scale events

Job Duties

  • Support the development of transportation-related agreements with Games stakeholders and public agencies
  • assist in developing, editing and refining the Games Mobility and Transportation Plan
  • support the design and creation of key transportation deliverables to be circulated publicly
  • manage schedules and organize internal and external meetings, conference calls, and events, ensuring that all logistics are planned and executed seamlessly
  • assist in monitoring overall Games transportation milestones and deliverables, as well as assist in providing progress reports and updates to functional area leadership and/or Games Mobility Executives
  • provide technical assistance for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting transportation data to optimize logistics operations, improve efficiency, and support strategic decision-making
  • prepare meeting materials, agendas, minutes, and presentation decks
  • assist in developing, editing, and refining communications materials prepared for or in support of community outreach and engagement activities related to Games transportation
