Job Description

The Cincinnati Open, founded in 1899, is a premier professional tennis tournament that forms part of the ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 series. It attracts world-class tennis talent and tennis fans globally, making it a cornerstone event in the sport's international calendar. Supported by major partners such as Western & Southern Financial Group, Credit One Bank, Procter & Gamble, Great American Insurance Company, Fifth Third, and Kroger, the Cincinnati Open is a widely recognized event with significant prestige and community impact. In 2025, the tournament drew over 285,000 fans from all 50 states of the U.S. and 65 countries worldwide. Its global reach is further emphasized by broadcasts in 187 international markets, showcasing the tournament's worldwide appeal and drawing in millions of viewers.

Beyond the sport itself, the Cincinnati Open is deeply invested in community engagement and social responsibility. The tournament annually contributes to local charitable causes focused on youth development, family support, educational initiatives, and health and wellness programs. Thus, the Cincinnati Open not only serves as an exhilarating sporting event but also as a vital contributor to the local Cincinnati community.

The role of Coordinator, Partnerships and Premium Service, is a full-time position embedded within this highly regarded sporting event’s organizational structure. Reporting directly to the Director of Partnerships & Premium Service, this role involves a blend of responsibilities supporting both the partnerships and premium seating teams. The Coordinator will assist with sponsor activation, client engagement, premium hospitality operations, and event execution before, during, and after the Cincinnati Open tournament. This dynamic role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment requiring initiative, independence, and a willingness to learn and grow with the organization.

The Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring that the event runs smoothly with a particular focus on maintaining excellent relationships with partners and premium clients. The role involves intricate logistical coordination, including organizing sponsor activation logistics, signage, hospitality, promotional assets, and managing communications and day-to-day requests from sponsors. The Coordinator also serves as the point of contact for onsite sponsor activations and supports tournament operations for select partners, ensuring that all partnership deliverables are fulfilled efficiently.

In the premium seating service area, the Coordinator is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service to premium seating clients, suite holders, and hospitality guests. This includes managing ticketing, parking passes, and premium access while ensuring exceptional guest experiences in premium hospitality areas during the tournament. Responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries about seating packages, amenities, and tournament logistics is a key part of the role.

Additionally, the Coordinator facilitates premium gifting, welcome materials, ongoing hospitality communications, and collaborates closely with operations, ticketing, and guest services teams to address client needs swiftly and effectively. Preparing detailed recap presentations for both tournament-wide experiences and premium client meetings forms part of the post-event duties, showcasing the impact and success of the hospitality experiences delivered.

This position demands flexibility, including the willingness to work long hours, evenings, and weekends as required to support tournament events and activities. Competitive compensation is offered, along with a generous benefits package featuring bonus eligibility, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401k retirement plan. The Cincinnati Open provides a stimulating and rewarding work environment that values ambition, collaboration, and exceptional service standards, making it a great opportunity for those passionate about sports hospitality and event management.
