The Coordinator for the Creative Design Studio & Mac Labs plays a pivotal role in leading these dynamic spaces, overseeing daily operations, and spearheading educational programming that encourages innovation and design thinking. This position is ideal for a professional with experience managing a higher education makerspace, fabrication lab, or innovation center, who is passionate about mentoring students and collaborating across departments to enhance the learning experience. The coordinator is responsible for supervising student employees, developing workshops and technical trainings, and partnering with faculty and staff to integrate creative technologies into curricular and co-curricular projects. Working closely with the Information Technology team and other campus partners, the role also involves managing equipment lifecycles, ensuring safety protocols, and fostering an inclusive environment that values diversity and encourages participation from all community members.
