Currently, The Arc Erie County NY is seeking a full-time Coordinator of Behavior Services based in Williamsville, NY and surrounding areas. This pivotal leadership role operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, offering an annual salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 depending on experience. As a Coordinator of Behavior Services, the successful candidate will lead and oversee behavior services throughout the agency’s diverse programs, including Residential, Education, Day Habilitation, Clinical, and Community settings.
In this highly visible clinical leadership position, the Coordinator will ensure the delivery of person-centered and compliant behavior support services aligned with regulatory standards set forth by OPWDD (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities) and SED (State Education Department). They will have direct responsibility for supervising Behavior Technicians, providing staff training and consultation, conducting and overseeing assessments such as Functional Behavioral Assessments, developing and monitoring behavior support plans, and supporting interdisciplinary treatment teams. The role demands a strategic and passionate leader dedicated to improving outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing proactive behavioral strategies and fostering staff development.
This opportunity offers the chance to shape behavioral supports across the agency, ensuring best practices and regulatory compliance, while serving as a clinical resource and collaborator across programs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, proven expertise in developing behavioral support plans, staff supervision, and thorough knowledge of OPWDD, DOH, CMS, and SED regulations. A valid New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary, along with strong leadership, communication, and clinical judgment skills.
Joining The Arc Erie County NY means becoming part of a highly respected organization where your clinical impact spans the entire agency. The organization offers excellent benefits including affordable insurance, a retirement plan, on-demand pay, and promotes an excellent work-life balance.
