Job Requirements

  • Masters degree in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or related field
  • Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Minimum 3 years experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Experience developing and implementing behavior support plans
  • Staff supervision and training experience
  • Knowledge of OPWDD, DOH, CMS and SED regulations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and clinical judgement skills
  • Required continuing education and credential maintenance

Job Qualifications

  • Masters in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or related clinical field
  • BCBA, NYS mental health counseling license, or OPWDD-qualified Level 1 or 2 BIS
  • Required continuing education and credential maintenance
  • Minimum 3 years supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Experience developing and implementing behavior support plans
  • Staff supervision and training experience
  • Knowledge of OPWDD, DOH, CMS and SED regulations

Job Duties

  • Conduct assessments and functional behavioral assessments
  • Develop and monitor behavior support plans
  • Provide staff training and consultation
  • Support interdisciplinary treatment teams
  • Oversee behavior services compliance and documentation
  • Assist with psychotropic medication review process
  • Serve as a clinical resource across programs
