The Coordinator of North American Operations role at EFW is a vital position reporting directly to the Leader of North American Operations. This hourly position plays a critical part in ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service by evaluating pricing and transportation options across an extensive network of internal and external transportation suppliers. The coordinator is responsible for efficiently managing transportation logistics for domestic clients within North America, continuously assessing routes, costs, timing, and availability to optimize service quality and cost-effectiveness. Key responsibilities include resolving customer and vendor disputes with a focus on preserving valuable relationships, proactively identifying shipments at risk, conducting thorough documentation of shipments including compliance with TSA and DOT regulations, and maintaining on-time service integrity. The role demands a dynamic individual capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure, working flexible hours across various shifts, and supporting a 24-hour on-call rotation if necessary. In addition to operational duties, the coordinator is expected to uphold company policies regarding security procedures such as C-TPAT and TSA standards. Job Requirements
- Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent in a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or other related transportation business
- Experience working with Dangerous Goods/HAZ-MAT certification desired
- Ability to work flexible hours and various shifts
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Ability to comply with TSA regulations and company security procedures
- Ability to meet deadlines 100 percent of the time
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and vendors
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and job specific software
- Ability to complete shipping documents electronically and manually
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to speak English fluently

Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent in related field
- 1 to 3 years experience in transportation, logistics or related business
- Experience with Dangerous Goods and HAZ-MAT certification desired

- Ability to complete air and ground shipping documents electronically and manually

Job Duties
- Evaluate pricing and transportation options using company training and experience
- Carry out assignments conducting work for EFW and its clients including evaluating multiple shipping options
- Serve as the front-line communicator for customer and vendor disputes resolving complaints to maintain satisfaction
- Manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Proactively identify shipments at risk and take control to ensure on time delivery
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with service providers
- Work flexible hours and various shifts including 24-hour on call rotation when requested
- Research and utilize the most efficient and cost effective routes across airlines, line-haul, pick-up, delivery, and scheduling
- Document all shipments with detailed trace notes and accurate data entry including TSA and DOT compliance
- Maintain on-time service integrity with a goal of 100 percent on time
- Communicate promptly any shipment jeopardy issues with internal and external customers and escalate when appropriate
- Ensure 100 percent compliance with TSA regulations including Indirect Air Carrier Security Program
- Utilize internet tracking applications to update, communicate, and monitor shipment status
- Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
