The Coordinator I, Business Operations role based in the Central Location, Mid-City, San Diego, California, is a full-time position that plays a vital part in the operations department. This position is responsible for performing all facets of daily operations including tour reception, contract preparation, gift distribution, and essential data management. The Coordinator ensures adherence to Travel + Leisure Co. Standard Operating Procedures while promoting a professional atmosphere for guests and internal teams alike. Operating within a multi-department context, this role supports the Sales, Marketing, HR, and Resort teams by providing detailed and timely administrative assistance, contributing to smooth operational flow and effective communication across departments.
In this role, the Coordinator is tasked with greeting and qualifying touring guests, collecting and validating guest information, and facilitating interactions between guests and Sales Agents. Delivering exceptional customer service through professional correspondence, answering inquiries, and assisting property owners with contract concerns is a fundamental part of this position. The Coordinator is also responsible for managing premiums distribution, daily financial reconciliations related to gifts, tours, and contracts, as well as maintaining accurate and secure records in compliance with privacy standards. This includes the precise entry of tour and gifting data into central reservation systems and preparing reports that aid in financial and operational planning.
The role demands careful handling of timeshare sales contracts for both the Sales Department and Property Owners, along with supporting the Administrative Supervisor in managing legal documents and other essential tasks. Limited travel is required, making this role stable within the company’s central operations. The importance of accuracy and timeliness in the Coordinator’s decisions is significant as errors could impact commissions, revenue recognition, contract securitization, and payroll precision. Although no supervisory responsibilities are involved, the Coordinator is accountable for meeting key performance metrics including cost management and adherence to company policies, thereby safeguarding company assets.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of general office experience
- One year of customer service experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of Central Reservation System or Epiphany system preferred
- Ability to work full time
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Job Duties
- Greet and qualify touring guests
