Job Description

Resorts World Las Vegas is a premier resort destination known for its luxurious accommodations, dynamic entertainment options, and exceptional dining experiences. Situated on the Las Vegas Strip, this expansive resort boasts world-class amenities, a vibrant atmosphere, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. As one of the newer mega resorts in Las Vegas, Resorts World has set high standards in hospitality and entertainment, attracting visitors from around the globe. The resort emphasizes a team-oriented work environment where each employee acts as an ambassador to uphold the company’s core values and ensure an unparalleled guest experience.

The Sales and Events Coordinator role at Resorts World Las Vegas is a vital position within the Group Dining and Catering team that supports various operational and client service functions. This position primarily involves managing daily leads generated through multiple channels like Tripleseat, email inquiries, and voicemails and appropriately assigning these to managers based on established thresholds. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate and updated information in the reservation management system, ensuring efficient lead tracking and follow-up.

Additional responsibilities include creating, printing, and delivering customized menus for events, pulling and distributing weekly operational reports, and assisting with logistical support such as vendor coordination, loading dock management, and purchase orders to guarantee timely vendor payments. The role requires flexible scheduling, including the availability to work nights, early mornings, and weekends as business needs dictate.

The Sales and Events Coordinator also supports group dining managers and directors by assisting with daily operational tasks, conducting client site tours, conducting pre-event planning sessions, and performing post-event follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and encourage repeat business. This position may be called upon to book and service smaller group dinners and happy hours of 20 guests or fewer, requiring attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Furthermore, the role contributes to maintaining a positive and professional work environment that promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction. The coordinator must ensure all necessary licensing and certifications are current and adheres to company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations to uphold the resort’s high standards.

At Resorts World Las Vegas, team members are expected to embody the company’s core principles, including acting as ambassadors to maintain safety, security, cleanliness, and excellent guest experiences throughout the property. This role demands strong communication skills, a polished appearance, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to meet and exceed customer expectations. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality sales, catering, and event coordination seeking to grow within a luxury resort environment.
