Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Combination of education and relevant experience considered

  • Capability to stand or move for several hours
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
  • Successful completion of background check including PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, and PA Child Abuse History Clearance

Job Duties

  • Coordinate official events including academic ceremonies, receptions, donor recognitions, conferences, seminars, lectures, meetings, and reading groups in-person and virtually
  • Oversee vendors and coordinate services including catering, police, audiovisual, facilities management, parking and transportation, risk management, budget accounting, photography, student leadership, volunteers, and outside service providers
  • Manage guest lists, invitation development, event budgeting, report preparations, research, and event design
  • Assist event sponsors with developing budgets
  • Handle promotions, public relations, and marketing for events
