Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 48 months related experience in lieu of degree
  • 24 months event planning and coordination experience
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday with some weekends
  • Experience with outreach or public relations preferred
  • Background check clearance
  • Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 24 months experience in event planning, coordination, outreach, or public relations
  • Experience with event scheduling software and virtual event platforms
  • Familiarity with university financial and purchasing systems
  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events and provide clear communication
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and execute division-wide student affairs events
  • Manage logistics and operational details for student programming
  • Utilize campus-wide event scheduling and virtual event platforms
  • Oversee budgeting and fiscal responsibility for events
  • Provide inclusive hospitality and maintain operational safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with university departments and external partners
  • Deliver excellent customer service and clear instructions during events
