As two of the most respected names in craft brewing, they foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and values diversity. Both companies have earned a reputation for not only producing outstanding beers but also for creating engaging experiences that bring the craft beer community together. This position is based within this vibrant environment focused on delivering exceptional event experiences that reflect the brands' unique values and passion for quality brewing.
The role of Event Logistics and Assembly Coordinator at New Belgium and Bell's is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of multiple events held across various city locations. This full-time position is designed for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The coordinator will be responsible for the comprehensive planning and logistical arrangement required to support events, including securing necessary supplies, equipment, rentals, trucks, and permits. This role necessitates flexibility and stamina as it involves travel, long hours, and hands-on physical work in event assembly and dismantling. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with brand teams to assist with a variety of activation projects.
Compensation for this position starts at an hourly rate of $23.00 to $27.75, reflecting factors such as experience, skills, education, and location. Full-time coworkers at New Belgium and Bell's are eligible for an extensive benefits package after one calendar month of employment. This includes medical and dental insurance with options for dependents, basic term life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, an employee assistance program, paid time off (PTO), 401k matching, paid caregiver leave, and profit sharing. The company culture is deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, making it a welcoming workplace for all individuals.
The Event Logistics and Assembly Coordinator will play a crucial role in research and procurement activities essential for each event’s success. Responsibilities include organizing event schedules and calendars to ensure precision and timeliness, coordinating the timing of deliveries to allow for smooth setup and activation, and supervising the assembly and dismantling of event spaces. This includes managing the loading and unloading of equipment, often involving physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects up to 156 pounds, carrying items long distances, and performing repetitive manual labor. Candidates must demonstrate fine motor skills and be capable of physical movements like climbing, stooping, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
Travel is a significant component of this role, with approximately 50 to 75 percent travel expected throughout the event season. The coordinator must be prepared to work in varied production and event environments, frequently interfacing with the public and maintaining excellent organizational oversight. This role provides an excellent opportunity for those looking to contribute to large-scale event activations within a respected and socially responsible industry leader.
