The Coordinator, Entertainment Experience - Programming & Operations is a pivotal role within Carnival Cruise Line's entertainment division. This position supports the successful execution of entertainment programs and operational initiatives across the entire fleet, ensuring that guests enjoy consistent and high-quality entertainment offerings. Reporting to the Supervisor of Programming & Operations, the Coordinator provides essential administrative, logistical, and operational support to help maintain the smooth functioning of all entertainment experiences onboard. The role involves collaboration with shipboard entertainment teams and shoreside departments, helping to coordinate inventory management, purchasing, shipment tracking, invoice processing, vendor communication, and reporting.

The Coordinator assists with everyday operational tasks such as inventory tracking and quality assurance for supplies, equipment, and collateral used in entertainment programming and special events. Attention to financial accountability is crucial in this role, as the Coordinator supports budget monitoring, cost optimization in partnership with sourcing and purchasing teams, vendor setup, and invoice processing to maintain accurate financial records.
The position operates primarily from an office in South Florida, requiring employees to work Monday through Thursday on-site with the option to work from home on Fridays. This in-office classification necessitates proximity to the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area or willingness to relocate. Job Duties
- support fleet-wide entertainment operations to help ensure consistency, operational efficiency, and successful execution of onboard events and activities
- coordinate inventory tracking and ordering for holidays, themed events, and entertainment programming
- assist with maintaining quality standards for entertainment-related supplies, collateral, and equipment
- monitor quality control for all supplies needed under entertainment operations to meet guest experience expectations
- lead and support holiday decoration logistics, including shipment, delivery, and scheduling vendor
- assist with shipment logistics, tracking delivery, and communicating with the Carnival warehouse and logistics managers for all entertainment experience related activities, events and holidays
- provide operational support to the Entertainment Experience team, including placing requisitions, collecting data, assisting with travel arrangements, training, and onboarding
- assist with planning and logistics for departmental meetings, conferences, town halls, and special projects
- support budget tracking by monitoring expenses and maintaining accurate records
- partner with sourcing, procurement, and purchasing teams to optimize cost savings and ensure high-quality service
- facilitate setup of new vendors by collecting and verifying required documentation
- coordinate invoice coding, categorizing, and processing, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution
- manage travel arrangements and expense reports in compliance with company policies
- participate in team meetings and foster a positive team environment
