The full-time position of Coordinator, Catering & Events at Trilogy at The Vineyards offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality, event management, and guest services. This role commands a critical leadership position responsible for the proactive coordination and execution of catered events and celebrations hosted at Club Los Meganos. The Coordinator will handle multiple facets of event management ranging from organizing initial client inquiries, coordinating with the catering sales team, to ensuring flawless execution on the day of events. This position is essential in maintaining high standards of service excellence and enhancing the guest experience from start to finish.
With an hourly pay rate of $27, this role includes eligibility for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and life insurance plans after 60 days of full-time employment, accrual of paid time off, and participation in the company 401(k) plan. The Coordinator works closely with various departments including food and beverage teams, event staff, and management to ensure all event details are meticulously organized and executed. Job Requirements
- High-school degree preferred
- Three to five years of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Supervisory role experience required
- Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
- Knowledge of restaurant database software a plus
- Knowledgeable about county regulations
- Ability to understand and implement BSRG dining standards
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret food service industry periodicals
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Consistently achieve high work standards with attention to detail
- Demonstrate initiative and make independent decisions
- Ability to manage multiple details and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends
- May require minimal travel
- Valid driver’s license required

Job Duties
- Maintain organization of details for booked catering events
- Provide full coordination for the host on the day of the event
- Provide support to the Catering Sales Manager
- Assist in the initial stages of inquiries regarding events
- Arrange meetings with clients to establish relationships and organize event details
- Organize and maintain detailed files of previous and upcoming events
- Direct and organize team members involved in event execution
- Assist Food and Beverage team
- Ensure event sheets are updated and forwarded to appropriate managers
- Provide full day coordination of ceremonies, weddings, and public events including greeting hosts upon arrival
- Perform other duties as assigned
