This position demands a welcoming and proactive attitude as the attendant warmly greets guests within two minutes of arrival, providing timely and courteous service. Acting as a liaison between guests and various hotel departments, the attendant coordinates reservations and responds to special requests efficiently, enhancing the overall guest experience. Additionally, the role involves maintaining an extensive information file about hotel amenities and local attractions, enabling the attendant to give knowledgeable recommendations that promote hotel services.\n\nFurthermore, maintaining cleanliness and order within the concierge lounge is a key duty, including the upkeep of the kitchenette, floors, furniture, and surfaces, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, creativity in solving guest issues, and a high work ethic. It demands the ability to multitask and sustain attention despite frequent interruptions. Job Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a standard office environment
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (6-8 hours a day)
Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday
Frequent fine motor skills use of hands and fingers for keyboarding typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items
Ability to lift and/or move 10-25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies)
Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles)
Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset

Job Duties

Warmly greet and welcome guests in the concierge lounge within 2 minutes of guest arrival
Act as a liaison between guests and hotel departments by making reservations and following up on special requests
Maintain an information file on hotel and local services and attractions and recommend them to the guest, suggestively selling hotel amenities and services
Clean concierge lounge throughout the shift by picking up dirty dishes and glasses and maintaining the kitchenette, including cleaning of floors, furniture and surfaces
