Job Description

Concord Hospitality is a leading hospitality management company renowned for its commitment to quality service, integrity, and community engagement. With a vast presence across North America, Concord manages a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts, providing exceptional accommodations and memorable guest experiences. The company is built on five foundational cornerstones: Quality, Integrity, Community, Profitability, and Fun, reflecting its dedication to delivering both excellent customer service and a positive, inclusive work environment. This dedication is further emphasized through its strong "Associate First" culture, which prioritizes personal and professional development at all organizational levels, from interns to executive leaders.

We are currently hiring motivated and dedicated Cooks to join our team in various capacities including Breakfast, Banquets, and Line cooking. These positions are available for both full-time and part-time employment, offering flexible scheduling to meet a variety of circumstances and lifestyles. Working at Concord Hospitality provides an opportunity to be part of a company that values diversity, inclusion, and work-life balance. Our associates are recognized for their hard work, commitment to excellence, and their contribution to the company’s mission of providing the best customer service and quality accommodations.

The role of a Cook at Concord entails preparing food of consistently high quality by following detailed brand recipe cards to ensure uniformity and excellence in every dish served. Attention to proper food handling documentation, including labeling containers and adhering to rotation standards as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), is critical to maintain food safety and quality standards. Cooks are expected to maintain a clean and fully prepared appearance, arriving on time and ready to contribute to a guest-centered dining experience.

Safety is paramount in our kitchens, and cooks are required to follow all safety protocols to protect themselves, their colleagues, and our guests. The role demands proactive communication and collaboration with team members, particularly concerning ordering, food preparation, and equipment maintenance to eliminate potential service disruptions. Accuracy and attentiveness in preparing orders in line with guest requests and special dietary needs reinforce our commitment to guest satisfaction.

Full-time associates enjoy competitive wages and access to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance plans; life insurance; short-term and long-term disability coverage; and 401(k) retirement savings options. Additionally, Concord Hospitality supports continued education and career advancement through tuition assistance programs, ongoing training, and development opportunities. Associates also benefit from discounted room rates at Concord-managed hotels, connecting them further with our hospitality brand while enjoying travel perks.

Choosing to build your culinary career with Concord Hospitality means joining a company that invests deeply in its people and their career growth. The company fosters an inspiring and supportive workplace through its "We Are Concord!" company cheer, symbolizing pride and unity among its employees.
