The kitchen team at ML Healthcare is responsible for preparing a wide array of menu items using standardized recipes and cooking methods, including soups, stocks, sauces, sautéed, fried, grilled, steamed, and baked dishes.

ML Healthcare seeks candidates with a minimum of three years experience in a cooking capacity within a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar institution. Job Duties

  • Prepare all soups, stocks, sauces
  • boils, braises and roast items per standardized recipes
  • prepare and serve all sauteed, fried, grilled, steamed and baked items per standardized recipes
  • prepare or direct the preparation of all food served following standard recipes and special diet orders
  • plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours to preserve excellence, quality, temperature and appearance of food
  • determine amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus and ensure supplies are obtained from storage areas in adequate time
  • maintain dependability and punctuality as outlined in Attendance Policy
