Job Description

Epic is a leading software company headquartered just outside Madison, Wisconsin, renowned for its innovative approach to healthcare technology. Known for blending technology with dedication to improving patient care, Epic offers an engaging and supportive work environment that attracts talented professionals nationwide. The company places a strong emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering an environment where creative ideas and teamwork thrive. Employees benefit from a uniquely themed campus designed to enhance productivity and comfort, including restaurants offering high-quality meals at affordable prices and a culture that encourages work-life balance. Madison, where Epic's campus is located, is recognized as the second fastest-growing market for tech talent in the US and has received numerous accolades, such as being the greenest city in America and the third best metro for young professionals, making it a vibrant and desirable place to live and work.

This culinary role at Epic offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team creating scratch-made dishes with an emphasis on creativity, variety, and ownership. The position is full-time and based on the campus in Madison, WI, requiring relocation for candidates not currently living within a 45-minute commute. Epic provides financial assistance for relocation, supporting a smooth transition. The role starts with competitive pay beginning at $25.00 per hour and includes eligibility for annual raises and bonuses. Working hours are primarily daytime Monday through Friday, typically from 7 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a balanced lifestyle.

As a culinary professional at Epic, you will collaborate with skilled chefs and kitchen staff to craft ever-evolving menus that emphasize healthy, sustainable options alongside innovative flavor combinations. The menus change daily, offering a broad range of culinary experiences—from rolling sushi to catering large events—providing a diverse, engaging work environment. You will have significant autonomy in managing your culinary creations from start to finish, ensuring every plate served is both delicious and visually appealing. The role is ideal for chefs who thrive on creative freedom and variety, supported by a team culture that champions innovation and excellence.

Beyond the kitchen, Epic offers comprehensive benefits, including zero co-pay health insurance, dental and vision coverage, generous paid time off, and opportunities for personal growth and professional development. After five years with the company, employees are eligible for a four-week sabbatical to explore passions anywhere in the world. Epic values the impact of its staff and rewards merit-based performance with raises, bonuses, and stock grants, providing a strong stake in the company’s ongoing success. If you are passionate about culinary arts and eager to join a company that values creativity, community, and career growth, Epic presents a uniquely rewarding opportunity.
