Pappas Restaurants, Inc. operates a location within Doctors Renaissance Hospital under the trade name Luby's Culinary Services. We are currently seeking dedicated Cooks to join our team at Doctors Renaissance Hospital. The Cooks are responsible for following our standardized recipes and preparation procedures to consistently produce outstanding food. Utilizing the freshest ingredients and advanced kitchen technology, our cooks prepare a variety of made-from-scratch favorites along with exciting new menu features tailored to the diverse tastes of our clientele. The role offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $16 to $18, with flexible scheduling options available for both part-time and full-time employment.

Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • background and drug screen may be required
  • ability to work part-time or full-time with flexible scheduling
  • physical capability to stand for extended periods
  • basic food handling knowledge

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous cooking experience is an asset
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and procedures
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • prepare made-from-scratch menu items according to recipes
