Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for 3 to 4 hours without a rest break
- Ability to lift and carry 20 to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend and reach
- Ability to use kitchen tools such as tongs and spatulas with a forceful grip
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including AM and PM
- Ability to follow local health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior cooking experience required as training is provided
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and food safety standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy weights up to 50 lbs
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment usage is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepares all hot buffet products according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures
- Uses the oven, steamer, roaster, smoker, grill, and fryer to prepare all items according to Golden Corral standards
- Ensures that every product is always fresh and hot
- Restocks items at the Display Cooking Station if the Buffet Attendant is unavailable
- Uses the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance
- Maintains correct temperature of all products during cooking, holding and serving
- Conducts opening and closing administrative procedures
