Job Description

Pizza Hut is a renowned global restaurant chain specializing in delivering delicious, high-quality pizzas and a variety of other menu items. As one of the most recognizable brands in the pizza industry, Pizza Hut has built its reputation on combining fresh ingredients, innovative recipes, and friendly customer service to create an enjoyable dining experience for millions of customers. Known for its vibrant community and inclusive culture, Pizza Hut fosters an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. The company prides itself not only on its food but also on the people who make the brand special and successful. This welcoming and dynamic workplace offers flexible schedules and ample opportunities for personal and professional growth, making it a top choice for individuals seeking to build a rewarding career in the foodservice industry.

The Cook/Production Team Member role at Pizza Hut is an essential position that ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen while maintaining the high standards Pizza Hut is known for. This position plays a critical role in preparing customer orders, stocking ingredients, and assisting with food preparation to keep the kitchen running seamlessly. Whether operating kitchen equipment, helping with inventory management, or maintaining cleanliness within the restaurant, each task contributes to delivering a great pizza experience. This role is especially suitable for individuals who are reliable, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Training is provided to help new hires succeed, but a passion for customer service and teamwork is vital from day one.

As a Cook/Production Team Member, you can expect a competitive base wage that reflects the location where you work, with hourly pay ranging from approximately $20.77 to $21.65 at various sites such as Renton, Tukwila, King County, and Everett. In addition to the hourly wage, employees receive tips from customers, mileage and cell phone data reimbursement if delivering orders, and the benefit of "Next Day Pay," allowing you to access up to 40 percent of your earned wages the day after working. Pizza Hut also offers a 401(k) program with company matching after one year of service, employee discounts on meals, and access to educational programs such as GEDWorks and tuition assistance through the Life Unboxed EDU program with Colorado Technical University.

For employees working 30 or more hours per week on average across the year, a comprehensive benefits package is available. This includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability and life insurance, accident and critical illness coverage, as well as telemedicine services. Additional support is provided through Pizza Hut's Employee Assistance Program, which offers resources for mental health, financial planning, and personal development. Sick time accrual ensures that team members have the time they need to rest and recover, reinforcing the company’s commitment to work-life balance. If you are an enthusiastic, fun-loving individual who enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a respected and growing brand, Pizza Hut’s Cook/Production Team Member position offers a rewarding and supportive environment where you can succeed and grow.
