Job Requirements
- Must have current TIPS certification and Food Handler's Permit
- ability to multitask while teaching
- ability to interpret policies and procedures
- ability to professionally handle conflict
- ability to accept constructive review and be accountable
- must possess integrity, a positive attitude, and be mission-driven
- ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- ability to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach
- ability to perform repetitive motion and coordination tasks
- ability to stand, walk, bend throughout the workday
- ability to maneuver heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- A 2-year college or technical school degree in culinary arts
- or any combination of education, experience, and training providing knowledge, skills, and abilities
- must have current TIPS certification and Food Handler's Permit
- wide range of knowledge in food, ingredients, knife skills, and cooking techniques
- approachable, personable, relaxed, and passionate
- excellent organization and planning skills
- solid communication skills including verbal and listening

Job Duties
- Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensures the Cooking School is clean, well-maintained, and meets company standards of appearance
- preps products for use in the Cooking School
- delivers excellent customer service while assisting with teaching hands-on and demonstrative classes in the Cooking School, hosting private events in the Cooking School, and catering special events
- assists with the development of recipes for use in the Cooking School
- effectively markets and sells Harmons products
- completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
- assists with the planning of menus and purchasing necessary ingredients
- sets a professional and positive example to others
- communicates effectively and works closely with the Cooking School Chef and Cooking School Coordinator
- ensures company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintained
- assists in other areas as needed
