Job Description

A hospital is seeking candidates to fill multiple positions including Days FT Cook, Evening FT Cook, Evening Dietary Aide, and Day and Evening PRN Cook and Aide. As part of the Dietary Services team, the chosen individuals will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking food for hospital patients, staff, and visitors, while adhering to inventory control practices and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area according to infection control standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification
  • Current ServSafe certificate within 3 months of hire
  • Some college courses preferred
  • Three years of experience in a food service line or restaurant setting required
  • One year in a hospital dietary department preferred
  • Previous experience in a behavioral health setting preferred
  • Education and development appropriate for the position
