Job Requirements

  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products including carving and display cooking products according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures
  • Grills all items according to Golden Corral standards to ensure quality
  • Ensures that every fried product is always fresh and hot
  • Restocks items at the Display Cooking Station if the Buffet Attendant is unavailable
  • Assists guests with carved meat options if the Carver is unavailable
  • Uses the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance
  • Maintains the correct temperature of products during cooking, holding, and serving
  • Uses production guides to maintain inventory of hot cook products
  • Conducts opening and closing administrative procedures
  • Maintains equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual
  • Restocks and rotates food products using first-in, first-out method
  • Takes inventory and checks build-to with Manager at shift start and end
  • Ensures cleanliness of Hot Cook area and smallwares, checking dishes before use
  • Performs duty roster to meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards
  • Adheres to local health department laws
  • Keeps Char Grill clean and scraped to ensure sanitation
  • Ensures Hot Choice Buffet products are hot and fresh for guests
  • Provides friendly and courteous assistance to guests
  • Maintains professional communication at all times
