Job Duties
- Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products including carving and display cooking products according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures
- Grills all items according to Golden Corral standards to ensure quality
- Ensures that every fried product is always fresh and hot
- Restocks items at the Display Cooking Station if the Buffet Attendant is unavailable
- Assists guests with carved meat options if the Carver is unavailable
- Uses the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance
- Maintains the correct temperature of products during cooking, holding, and serving
- Uses production guides to maintain inventory of hot cook products
- Conducts opening and closing administrative procedures
- Maintains equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual
- Restocks and rotates food products using first-in, first-out method
- Takes inventory and checks build-to with Manager at shift start and end
- Ensures cleanliness of Hot Cook area and smallwares, checking dishes before use
- Performs duty roster to meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards
- Adheres to local health department laws
- Keeps Char Grill clean and scraped to ensure sanitation
- Ensures Hot Choice Buffet products are hot and fresh for guests
- Provides friendly and courteous assistance to guests
- Maintains professional communication at all times
