Job Requirements

  • 3+ years cooking in a professional kitchen
  • culinary arts degree
  • eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
  • live within 45 minutes of Epic's campus in Verona, WI or be willing to relocate
  • COVID-19 vaccination
  • willingness to relocate to Madison, WI
  • ability to work Monday through Friday daytime hours

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years cooking in a professional kitchen
  • culinary arts degree
  • experience in fine dining or large-volume cooking is a plus
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong creativity and passion for food
  • excellent time management skills
  • knowledge of food safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Compose and prepare scratch-made dishes
  • innovate and contribute new recipe ideas
  • manage meal preparation from start to finish
  • maintain high culinary standards of taste and presentation
  • collaborate with culinary team across various venues and catering events
  • ensure food safety and cleanliness standards
  • adjust menus to provide healthy and sustainable options
