The company is currently hiring for the 2026 Summer Season, seeking enthusiastic Front of House staff to join their team. The Front of House staff plays a crucial role in providing efficient, friendly, and personable service to all guests. In this position, employees take orders, expedite and deliver food, and ensure the cleanliness and overall positive atmosphere of the food truck or restaurant area. It is an interactive role that requires a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage customer concerns with care and attention. Employees should be outgoing, personable, and capable of maintaining composure in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
Specifically, the Cook/Cashier position is essential to the food and beverage operation at MetroLagoons. Working conditions may include high temperatures and humidity inside the food truck, as well as exposure to various weather elements outside, such as heat, cold, and rain. The company emphasizes the importance of food safety and sanitation, requiring strict adherence to safety guidelines and proper food temperature maintenance. Employees will receive training and certification in food and beverage safety if needed, ensuring that all service meets the highest standards.
This seasonal role offers flexible scheduling to accommodate business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
