Job Requirements

Minimum of two years baking or pastry cooking experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Food Handler Certificate or ServSafe certificate or willingness to obtain one upon hiring
Ability to perform baking duties error-free and meet quality standards
Commitment to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if required

Job Qualifications

Minimum of two years experience as a Baker or Pastry Cook
High school graduate or GED equivalent
Possession of a Food Handler Certificate or ServSafe certificate or willingness to obtain upon hiring
Strong knowledge of baking and pastry production techniques
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Good teamwork and communication skills
Passion for quality and resident satisfaction

Job Duties

Plan, prep, set up and prepare quality baked goods such as breads, breakfast bakeries, cookies, pastries, and desserts
Ensure all baking and pastry production tasks are performed accurately and meet company quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment following food safety regulations
Manage baking schedules to ensure timely production and availability of items
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate menu offerings and special dietary needs
Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs for replenishment
Assist in developing new recipes and baking techniques to enhance menu variety
