Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food preparation or related culinary field
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Pass a drug test, tuberculosis test, and physical evaluation
- Successfully complete a background check if required
- Compliance with COVID-19 and influenza vaccination mandates if applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow established recipes accurately
- Strong organizational skills
- Leadership ability to manage kitchen operations in coordinator’s absence
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Ensure proper, timely, and safe preparation of food according to established recipes
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation requirements
- Maintain a safe and orderly kitchen environment
- Manage all food production in absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
- Follow all health regulations and guidelines
- Support team members to meet meal service standards
- Maintain inventory and assist with kitchen supplies management
