Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to effectively communicate with others
- commitment to making an impact
- ability to remain stationary and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- ability to work in hot and damp environments
- must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively
- possession of finger and hand dexterity
- ability to wear protective hand coverings and face masks as required
- ability to use disinfectant cleaning supplies and wash hands frequently
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a food preparation role is an advantage but not required
- strong communication skills
- ability to work well in a team
- attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Duties
- prepare menu items according to Applebee's standards
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area
- communicate effectively with team members and dining room staff
- follow safety and hygiene protocols including the use of protective gear
- assist with inventory and stock maintenance
- contribute to a positive and fast-paced team environment
- comply with physical standards of the role including lifting and mobility
