Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in hot environments
  • ability to wear protective gear throughout the shift
  • available to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • commitment to a safe and hygienic work environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • good organizational skills
  • ability to follow detailed instructions
  • commitment to food safety and hygiene

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items according to Applebee's recipes and standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • monitor food quality and presentation
  • communicate effectively with team members and dining staff
  • follow all health and safety regulations
  • assist in stock management and inventory control
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
