Job Qualifications

- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts preferred
- Experience working in a multi-faceted food service facility such as a restaurant, hotel, country club, conference center, casino or theme park preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Assist the Sous Chef in running the kitchen and managing employees, overseeing the operations in the absence of the Sous Chef
- Follow recipes and proper cooking techniques to ensure products are consistently prepared to showcase high standards and give guests a unique meal experience
- Educate customers and employees on products, share knowledge to offer complete meal solutions and suggest ways to prepare meal items incorporating products from different departments
- Manage employee performance by providing resources, training, feedback and development opportunities
- Support the completion of the entry-level structured training program and mentorship activities
- Maintain high food safety and quality assurance standards during all kitchen operations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen workflow and excellent customer service
