The role available is for a cook who will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction by preparing food that adheres rigorously to recipe execution, presentation, and quality standards. The cook will be responsible for following Boiling Point's established recipes and portion controls, maintaining sanitary and safe food preparation areas, and making sure that every dish meets the company's gold standard before it reaches the customer. Additionally, the cook must have a solid understanding of how to properly use kitchen equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure everything operates smoothly, contributing to consistent food quality and safety. This includes managing the start-up and shutdown processes of cooking machines each day and ensuring all sanitation guidelines are met. Job Requirements
- Preferred 1+ year of experience working in a restaurant environment, preferably as a cook
- friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
- able to multitask and work in a team environment
- must be proficient in computer knowledge including MS Office Suite products
- high school diploma preferred
- all candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process
- ability to continuously stand or walk
- ability to bend and lift occasionally
- ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently
- work will be conducted in a restaurant environment
- may encounter temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 425 degrees around equipment in the kitchen if needed to enter that area
- may occasionally walk on slippery surfaces
- noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud
Job Qualifications
- Preferred 1+ year of experience working in a restaurant environment, preferably as a cook
- friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills

Job Duties
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by Boiling Point's gold standard
- have understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station
- responsible for maintaining all equipment machines to prepare food including powering on and off at the beginning and close of the restaurant
- clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
- verify that prepared food meets Boiling Point requirements for quality
- maintain personal health and sanitation standards
- must be knowledgeable of all safety codes per Boiling Point's guidelines
- ensure compliance with Boiling Point's code of ethics, integrity and conduct
