Job Requirements

  • Preferred 1+ year of experience working in a restaurant environment, preferably as a cook
  • friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
  • able to multitask and work in a team environment
  • must be proficient in computer knowledge including MS Office Suite products
  • high school diploma preferred
  • all candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process
  • ability to continuously stand or walk
  • ability to bend and lift occasionally
  • ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently
  • work will be conducted in a restaurant environment
  • may encounter temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 425 degrees around equipment in the kitchen if needed to enter that area
  • may occasionally walk on slippery surfaces
  • noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud

Job Duties

  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by Boiling Point's gold standard
  • have understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station
  • responsible for maintaining all equipment machines to prepare food including powering on and off at the beginning and close of the restaurant
  • clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
  • verify that prepared food meets Boiling Point requirements for quality
  • maintain personal health and sanitation standards
  • must be knowledgeable of all safety codes per Boiling Point's guidelines
  • ensure compliance with Boiling Point's code of ethics, integrity and conduct
