Job Requirements
- Prior experience as a cook
- Knowledge and experience in food preparation and kitchen operation in a high quality or upscale environment
- Serve Safe certification
- Understanding of sanitation practices
- Ability to communicate in English
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long durations
- Willingness to work in heat and cold kitchen environments
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a cook
- Knowledge and experience in food preparation and kitchen operation in a high quality or upscale environment
- Serve Safe certification
- Understanding of sanitation practices
- Effective communication skills in English

Job Duties
- Work knowledge of broiler, pantry and sauté stations
- Confer with sous chef for menu requirements and food supplies
- Prepare and cook food including a la carte items according to specifications and sanitary standards
- Portion food and issue to servers upon order
- Prepare all cold side items according to menus and specials
- Make daily preparations of menu items with high quality and presentation
- Assist in other food preparation for events as needed
- Clean work area and assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Operate kitchen equipment in safe and sanitary manner
- Report food supply shortages or station problems to supervisor
- Assist in receiving and storage of food
- Perform other duties as requested
- Cook hot side food items for banquets and assist other cooks
- Break down station by turning off equipment, lights and locking storage areas at shift end
