The Cook position at Aramark is an exciting opportunity for those who love to cook and are passionate about food. As a Cook on the Aramark team, you will be responsible for bringing recipes to life with fresh ingredients and state-of-the-art kitchen equipment. The role involves preparing a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes. Cooking techniques like baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, and other methods are used to prepare meats, vegetables, and other dishes. Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment is essential to this role, which includes cleaning utensils, equipment, and work areas. Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude towards customers, co-workers, and clients are also paramount. The Cook must adhere to all safety policies, especially those related to food safety and sanitation, and help ensure the security of company assets. The job may include physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. The use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required to maintain safety standards.
