Job Requirements

Ability to carry large heavy items, such as dishes in tubs or trays unassisted (up to 25 lbs.)
ability to stand for long periods of time – up to 8 hours a day
ability to work all shifts and be available for overtime and weekends, as needed
ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of objects
to conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

Job Qualifications

2+ years of experience in the food service industry
restaurant experience
high volume experience
experience with a daily changing menu
possession of or willingness to obtain a food handlers card or equivalent
high level of professionalism
strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Duties

Complete daily prep tasks
ensure consistency and compliance with the restaurant’s recipes regarding portioning, cooking, and waste control guidelines
provide courteous and informative customer service in an open kitchen format
follow restaurant guidelines concerning guest services, food and physical safety, maintenance, and equipment/space cleaning requirements at all times
maintain a clean and safe workstation
