Working as a Cook involves preparing and cooking a variety of dishes following standardized recipes and strict production guidelines to ensure quality and safety. Working with fresh ingredients and state-of-the-art kitchen equipment, a Cook contributes directly to delivering satisfying meals that meet client and customer expectations. The role includes measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, and peeling ingredients, safely handling utensils and kitchen appliances like ovens, stoves, mixers, and slicers. Additionally, the Cook is responsible for baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, and other cooking methods to prepare meat, vegetables, and other foods. The position also requires skillfully arranging, garnishing, and portioning dishes according to established guidelines.

Job Requirements
- experience as a cook or in a related role required
- validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
- must be able to acquire food safety certification
- demonstrate basic math and counting skills
- demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

- cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
- maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers
- adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
- ensures security of company assets
