Currently, Eurest is hiring for the full-time position of Cook Supervisor at the Bio Rad location in Hercules, California. This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25.00 to $25.69, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The position demands leadership experience combined with culinary expertise, ideal for those who are passionate about foodservice management and team development.

The Cook Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of food service activities by directly supervising food-service associates while adhering to company policies, procedures, and relevant laws. The successful candidate will be responsible for training, planning, and directing the work of employees, and appraising their performance. They will also handle employee rewards and disciplinary actions, and address and resolve complaints effectively. The role further entails oversight of purchasing requirements to minimize waste and product shortages, strict adherence to food safety standards such as HACCP, and ensuring food quality and presentation meet company standards.

The supervisor will be expected to operate and maintain kitchen equipment in line with department procedures and safety regulations while ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food to reduce spoilage. Additionally, they contribute to meal service activities and maintain a presence during service periods to gather customer feedback, enhancing the overall dining experience.
