The Assistant Food Service Director role at Summit in Miami, Florida, is a full-time, onsite position within the corrections segment. This role is vital for the successful management and operation of the culinary and service teams that deliver food in a correctional setting. The assistant director will support the Food Service Director by helping oversee all culinary operations, safety protocols, sanitation standards, and day-to-day business functions to maintain a professional, efficient, and profitable foodservice operation. This position requires a motivated and experienced individual capable of leading diverse staff including chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks, and catering teams.

Job Requirements

  • At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role
  • At least two years’ foodservice experience
  • Proven track record of financial responsibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
