Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one years' culinary experience in a high volume establishment focusing on scratch cooking
  • complete knowledge of culinary methods and standards
  • strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • ability to supervise kitchen staff effectively
  • excellent attention to detail
  • effective communication and leadership abilities

Job Qualifications

  • At least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • high-level product knowledge
  • experience providing friendly and helpful customer service
  • experience supervising a team

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • supervising kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and adherence to standards
  • coordinating the work of employees to optimize productivity
  • monitoring food preparation processes to comply with culinary methods and safety guidelines
  • managing multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
