Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment
  • knowledge of proper culinary methods and standards
  • ability to train and supervise employees
  • excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability
  • experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment emphasizing scratch cooking
  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • experience supervising a team
  • high-level product knowledge and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • supervising kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and adherence to standards
  • monitoring food preparation to comply with safety and hygiene regulations
  • managing inventory and supplies to prevent shortages
  • handling team scheduling and task assignments
