Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year culinary experience in a high-volume setting
  • Experience in scratch cooking
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to train and instruct team members

Job Qualifications

  • At least one years' prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Strong product knowledge and customer service skills
  • Food Handlers certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in food service and sanitation
  • Ensuring meal services begin on time
  • Monitoring portion, appearance, and temperature of food items
  • Supervising kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and quality
  • Enforcing health and safety standards in food preparation
  • Managing inventory and supplies to minimize waste
  • Coordinating workflow in a high-volume kitchen
