Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment
  • knowledge of food service and sanitation standards
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • experience supervising a team
  • Food Handlers certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year's prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • experience supervising a team
  • high-level product knowledge
  • ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • ensuring meal services begin on time
  • ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
  • coordinating and supervising kitchen staff to maintain operational efficiency
  • enforcing compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations
  • managing team performance and providing ongoing guidance and support
  • maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
